Every hearth we create is custom-crafted to your unique specifications by our highly skilled team. With complete onsite control over the manufacturing process, we’re able to cut your hearth to virtually any shape or size, bringing your vision to life.

The photos and descriptions on our website offer a general representation of our products, but each piece is truly one-of-a-kind. Stone Sales hearths are designed for indoor use and are compatible with a variety of fireplaces and stoves, as specified by the designer or installer. Improper or unintended use may lead to damage.

Custom Hearth Ordering Guide:
- Made to Order – Every hearth is custom manufactured to your specifications, allowing us to create a wide range of sizes and shapes to suit your project.
- Lead Times – Typical manufacturing lead times are approximately 7–10 working days, however we recommend ordering at least 3 weeks before installation to allow for production scheduling and any unforeseen delays. Lead times and material availability should always be confirmed before ordering.
- Order Confirmation – To ensure accuracy, all hearth orders must be submitted in writing via email. This helps minimise errors and ensures all specifications are clearly recorded.
- Sizing Responsibility – While our team can advise on materials and finishes, we are unable to provide guidance on hearth sizing requirements. Please consult your installer or stove/fireplace manufacturer for sizing and compliance advice.
- Custom Shapes & Templates – For bespoke or complex hearth designs, a wooden template may be required. Due to our water-cooled cutting process, paper and cardboard templates cannot be accepted.
- Natural Stone Variation – Stone is a natural product, meaning every hearth is unique. Variations in colour, tone, texture, veining and character are to be expected. Website images are intended as a guide only and cannot guarantee an exact match.
- Delivery Considerations – Hearths exceeding 1200mm in length are classed as double-width for delivery purposes and may incur additional transport charges.
- Nationwide Delivery – Hearths can be delivered throughout the UK using trusted pallet network services to ensure safe transportation. Some areas are serviced by third party couriers and may take longer.
- Indoor Use Only – Stone Sales hearths are designed for indoor use with compatible fireplaces and stoves. Installation should always follow the appliance manufacturer’s and installer’s recommendations.
- Need a Quote? – Indicative quotations can be provided from drawings or dimensions, with final pricing confirmed once all specifications and/or templates have been received.
Things to note:
- Delivery Charges: Please note that any order exceeding 1200mm will be counted as double width for delivery purposes, which may increase your overall costs.
- Lead Times: While our standard lead times are typically around 7 to 10 working days, we strongly recommend placing your order at least 3 weeks prior to your installation date. This will help ensure an efficient and timely process, allowing us to accommodate any unforeseen delays.

- Hearth Sizes: Although our team possesses extensive expertise in the stone products we offer, we are not qualified to provide guidance on hearth sizing. We strongly recommend consulting with a professional installer if you have any questions or need assistance with sizing your hearth.
- Template Requirements: We only accept wooden templates for custom shapes due to our water-based manufacturing methods. Unfortunately, cardboard and paper templates are not suitable.
