Custom Worktop Ordering Guide
- Made to Order – All worktops are manufactured to your specific dimensions and requirements. Please ensure all measurements and details are checked carefully before placing your order.
- Templates & Measurements – For the best fit, final measurements should be taken after cabinets have been installed and levelled. Complex layouts may require a template to be supplied.
- Templating & Installation Service – We offer a professional templating and fitting service within our local area. This ensures accurate measurements and expert installation for the best possible finish. Please contact us to confirm whether your location falls within our service area.
- Natural Stone Variation – Stone is a natural product and each slab is unique. Variations in colour, veining, texture and pattern are part of its character and should be expected.
- Lead Times – Lead times vary depending on material availability, project complexity and production schedules. We recommend allowing sufficient time before installation and confirming current lead times when ordering.
- Cut-Outs & Special Features – Sink cut-outs, hob cut-outs, drainer grooves, upstands and other bespoke features should be clearly specified at the time of order.
- Appliance & Sink Specifications – Accurate appliance and sink information must be provided before manufacture. Stone Sales cannot accept responsibility for incorrect dimensions supplied by third parties.
- Delivery & Access – Please ensure there is suitable access for delivery and installation. Large worktop sections may require additional handling equipment or manpower.
- Weight Considerations – Stone worktops are extremely heavy. Cabinets and supporting structures must be suitable and correctly installed prior to fitting.
- Care & Maintenance – Natural stone worktops may require sealing and ongoing maintenance depending on the material selected. Care advice is available upon request.
- Order Confirmation – To avoid errors, all dimensions, specifications and amendments should be confirmed in writing before manufacture begins.
- Changes & Cancellations – Once production has commenced, changes may not be possible and cancellation charges may apply.
